Will
a RHD car supplied through TIC be exactly the same as a UK supplied car?
YES! The headlamps will point
the right way, the speedometer will be in MPH & the specification will be
identical unless specified otherwise.
Will
the warranty be honoured by my local dealer?
YES! All main dealers for the relevant brand in
Europe are obliged to honour the warranty on your new car regardless of where it has been
purchased.
Are
you able to supply Left Hand Drive vehicles?
YES! We are able to supply new and nearly new left
hand drive vehicles either from stock or to order with UK registration or
registration in most European Community countries.
How
do I know that the payments will be secure & the car will arrive on time?
All payments for vehicle's
purchased through TIC are made direct to an official dealership abroad. The
purchase contract, which states the estimated delivery time, is made
between the client & the official dealership which means the entire purchase
is as secure as from a UK dealer.
How
do I arrange foreign currency?
Purchasing foreign currency
is extremely simple & the whole process only takes a few minutes. There are
normally two amounts you will have to purchase; the initial deposit on order and
the balance on delivery. You can either purchase the foreign currency from your
bank or use our official partner, Currencies Direct, who offer a complete
service to our clients and usually offer superior exchange rates.
What
happens if the exchange rate changes between the time of order & delivery?
We always recommend our
clients either purchase the total amount of currency along with their deposit or
arrange a "forward contract" to cover the final payment. A
"forward contract" is an agreement made between yourself and a bank or
currency trading company which agrees a fixed rate of exchange for the delivery
date. Either of these options remove any risk of the exchange rate dropping and
provides you with a fixed price in pounds.
Can
you deliver the vehicle to me in the UK or abroad?
Yes, we offer a complete
package which ranges from UK port delivery to doorstep delivery anywhere in
Europe.
Who
registers the car & completes all the customs documentation?
We do! Our prices includes
our registration service which even includes a set of UK number plates!
Are
there any extra taxes to pay in the UK?
No, the only tax payable on a
new vehicle purchased in another EU country is the 17.5% VAT as is the case on
UK supplied vehicles.
Do
you take Part-Exchanges?
Yes and no. It depends on the type of vehicle you
are purchasing so please ask your sales consultant.
